Pricing Advisor suggests credit-cost changes based on provider cost, margin targets, and usage. Recommendations are deterministic, explainable, and versioned. You apply or reject — no autonomous changes. Free plans see basic visibility; Growth plans get full history, apply/reject controls, and estimated lift.
Is Pricing Advisor included on Free?
Yes. Free plans get basic Pricing Advisor visibility and see the latest recommendation. Growth plans add full history, version history, apply/reject controls, and estimated lift visibility.
Does Chargly change pricing automatically?
No. Pricing Advisor suggests changes; you apply or reject. Every change is human-approved. No autonomous pricing in Chargly.
What do apply/reject controls do?
Apply accepts the suggested credit cost and creates a new immutable pricing rule version. Reject records the decision and preserves audit history. Both actions are explicit — no silent overwrites.
What is pricing version history?
When you apply a recommendation, Chargly creates a new immutable pricing rule version (e.g. v1 → v2). Version history lets you see what changed and when. Central to trust and auditability.
Do I define my own credit costs?
Yes. You decide how many credits each AI action costs (e.g. 8 for chat.reply, 40 for image.generate). Chargly handles the deduction and balance updates.
Do I need Stripe?
Stripe is required for credit top-ups. Users buy credits through Stripe Checkout; Chargly syncs purchases to wallet balances automatically.
Is MCP included?
Yes. MCP support is included in every plan. Use the Chargly MCP server to expose billing as tools in agent-native workflows.
Are token counts exposed to users?
No. Credits abstract away raw token economics. Users see credits, not input/output token counts.
Can I start small and expand later?
Yes. Start on Free, ship your product, and move to Growth when you outgrow the free tier.
What is the 7-day Growth trial?
New accounts can activate a 7-day Growth trial to unlock full Pricing Advisor controls, higher limits, and production features. After expiry, your account reverts to Free while preserving data and history where possible. Self-serve and opt-in.
